Past, Present and Future

Beckett Air was founded on June 28, 1988 and began operations by acquiring Ventra, a small blower wheel company located in Indiana. We moved the acquisition to North Ridgeville, Ohio after three months, and initially manufactured approximately 5,000 blower wheels per day. We gradually increased sales and improved shop floor efficiency. In 1990, we began to realize new sales from our Fergas type wheel. The Fergas blower wheel is more efficient and produces greater CFM and static pressure than the standard Strip style wheel.

We have enjoyed exceptional growth in sales at Beckett Air and currently we enjoy a sales record of about five times that of the original acquisition. We currently manufacture over 30,000 blower wheels per day. We obtained our ISO9001:2000 certification in 2003.

Our new 130,000 sq. ft. facility is designed for manufacturing efficiency. The utilization of high-speed presses and work cell technology continues to reduce the labor content of Beckett Air blower wheels. Patented manufacturing and blower wheel design also continues to reduce labor cost. Today Beckett Air sets the standard of centrifugal blower wheel manufacturing.

Customer service is not a concept phrase at Beckett Air. It is a measurable and dynamic performance level. For us, customer service is on-time deliveries with minimum lead times. We have successfully reduced manufacturing lead times by over 50 percent.
